Where: Berry Showground, Berry NSW
We just luuuurve Fairgrounds Festival. Now in its 4th year, Fairgrounds is without a doubt our favourite all-age festival. With an impressive lineup of local and international artists, gourmet eats, artisan markets, crafty workshops and a plunge pool, you are guaranteed to have a great time.

Getting there and back is easy. Fairgrounds organise shuttles to and from the festival and Nova Kiama is a 10 minute taxi ride from the nearest stop Gerringong. If you’re taking your own car, make the most of Nova Kiama free on-site parking. Alternatively, can you also choose to camp at Fairgrounds Rivercamp, located at a scenic riverbank.
2. Carols in the Park Kiama
When: Wednesday 11th December 2019
Where: Hindmarsh Park, Kiama NSW
Time: 7:00pm – 9:00pm
It’s time to warm up your vocal chords and start practising your carols in preparation for the annual Carols in the Park Kiama. Pack a picnic blanket, bring snacks and head down to Hindmarch Park (across the road from the shops in Terralong Street) to celebrate the festive season.
This free community event is always a hit with families! Santa is known to make an appearance which is very much appreciated by the little ones.

3. Kiama’s Kinky Kristmas Kabaret
When: Saturday 14th December 2019
Where: The Pavillion, Kiama NSW
Time: 6:00pm – 10:00pm
The Pavilion Kiama, Laughter House Entertainment and Culinarius are combining forces to organise an evening you are not likely to forget: Kiama’s Kinky Kristmas Kabaret.
The evening will kick off at 6pm with a free glass of bubbly on arrival, a 2 course Christmas dinner and very merry entertainment. Without a doubt an evening everyone will be talking about for a looooong time. When: Friday 31st December 2019
Where: Kiama Harbour
Time: From 4:00pm (fireworks from 9:00pm)
Admission: Free
We might be a little biased, but we believe the Kiama’s New Years Eve’s fireworks show is one of Australia’s most impressive NYE celebrations. The fireworks display is the largest between Sydney and Melbourne and was enjoyed by 18,000 people last year.
